Originally a Feta cheese, Amol processed cheese is a high-fat, soft cheese made from the fresh milk of sheep. This type of cheese, with its creamy texture, has Greek originality. There are other types of Feta cheese made from goat’s milk or a mixture of goat and sheep, but we use sheep’s milk in the Amol processed cheese. This item is categorized as a processed, meaning that fresh white cheese is used during its process of making. The maturation process is around two months, and it’s sold as submerged blocks in a fluid made from salt and water. Amol processed cheese is an excellent source of protein and calcium, and the whole procedure is done using automatic pieces of machinery. This product has a more appealing taste compared to similar types of white cheese available in the market. You can serve the Amol processed cheese fresh and spread it on toast or bagels. It’s also a good idea to mix this cheese with nuts and olive oil for a perfect combination and taste. By washing the blocks of cheese underwater, the level of saltiness decreases and makes it a better option for those who don’t like the excess fat in it.
