Description: Gouda is a semi-hard cow’s milk cheese with a yellowish color, which was first produced in a village of the same name in the Netherlands in the twelfth century. It is among the most famous cheeses of the world and has the highest sales in its home country. The cheese is characterized by a mild creamy scent that appeals to individuals with different tastes. Gouda matures over the period of 45 to 60 days. Its nutritional value is equal to that of 14 to 16 kilograms of milk and is replete with mineral, phosphorus, and calcium.

Usage: Gouda can be served with a number of fruits such as apples, pears, and grapes as well as whole wheat cracker, beef, and turkey. It is also a perfect ingredient for various salads, breakfasts, pizzas, lasagnas, soups, sauces, and sandwiches.
